Accommodation

Dogs are housed in indoor runs that measure about 2m long and 1m wide. They sleep on trampoline beds with soft bedding, which we provide. The runs are cleaned out and all bedding changed twice daily. The dog runs are fully air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.

Exercise

It is important that your dog is kept active and socialised whilst in boarding. All dogs are given a run for about 30 minutes, three times daily in our courtyard. Most dogs are allowed to run with other dogs of a similar size. If your dog has a more solitary nature then it can be run on its own.

Food

The dogs in boarding are fed on Science diet dry dog food. Most dogs are fed Twice daily unless requested differently. If your dog has special dietary needs then these can easily be accommodated.

Special care

If your dog has special needs – for example a medical condition – then medication can be given whilst in boarding. There is a small extra charge for this. If your dog needs any veterinary attention whilst in boarding please advise the nurses when you drop them off. If your animal develops any problems whilst in boarding then the kennel hands will advise the vet and your animal will be checked.

Please mention any medical or behaviour problems your dog has when you drop him or her off so we can provide the best care.

Vaccination and Health Care

All dogs must be fully vaccinated with a C5 vaccination before coming into boarding at least two weeks before coming into boarding (no exceptions). If your dog is up to date with vaccination and is due at the the time of boarding, we can do it when your dog arrives.

Please ensure your dog has been wormed and treated for fleas before coming in. We can do this if needed.

Drop-off and Collection

You can drop off your pet any time from 7:30am to 9:30pm on weekdays and 9:30am to 6:30pm on weekends. Please allow yourself a few minutes when you arrive so that the nurses can check your details and ask about any special needs. There is no extra charge for collecting your pet late in the evening. Boarding accounts can be fixed up on the collection of your pet.
