Our thoughts and love are with our clients and local community through this evolving pandemic. To ensure we can continue to service you and your pets, we have made the difficult decision to make some significant changes in the way we provide our services to ensure everyone’s safety.

It is important to note that some of our clients are elderly and it is imperative that we all do our part to slow the transmission of this virus and flatten the curve.

From Friday 27th March we will now be offering a car park drop off service only. Our front door will be locked and clients will be unable to enter the building. This is a temporary measure and may change as the situation changes.

We understand this is a significant change and will cause difficulty for some clients. We ask for your understanding as we get through this crisis together.

BOOKINGS

If your animal requires a consultation, please call ahead on 9398 8000 to make a booking. We are extending our consultation times to 30 minute consults to accommodate the changes. Shortly, we will be offering TeleMedicine Consultations as well for where it may be suitable (this will be determined on the phone when you ring for a booking). Walk in consultations will not be available. PLEASE MINIMISE HANDLING AND CLOSE CONTACT WITH YOUR ANIMALS FOR SEVERAL HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT TO THE VET.

ARRIVAL

When you arrive for your appointment please phone us and we will collect your animal from the courtyard car park at the rear of the practice (30 meters down Jane Street). Please park on Jane Street or nearby, not in the drive way. Dogs should be placed on the leads available on our bollard, and cats in a cat box (please make sure the cat box is wiped clean just prior to arrival). The vet will have a quick chat to you, over the fence, before the nurse takes your pet inside. Please be assured that we will look after your pet like they are our own. The vet will then call you on your mobile phone while examining your animal, to discuss the examination, treatment etc.

OPENING HOURS

As of Monday 30th March we will be closing at 8pm on weekdays (weekend hours are as normal).

PAYMENT

We will aim to collect payment over the phone, or at the fence, at the conclusion of the consultation, via the EFTPOS machine, we cannot accept cash at this stage.

MEDICATION/FOOD ETC.

Any medication, flea/tick product or food should be ordered and paid for ahead of arrival to reduce waiting times. On arrival, please call us and we will deliver to you at the back gate.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
